Important Features

Block Adult Content⛔
With this feature enabled, you won't be able to access adult content/websites on your browser. It also works on social media apps that contain inappropriate words, ensuring a comprehensive protection layer.

Uninstall Protection🚫
This feature prevents the app from being uninstalled without the consent of your accountability partner, making BlockerHero stand out from other apps. It requires device administrator permission (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN).

Accountability Partner (Parental Control)
Choose an accountability partner to ensure you stay on track. Whenever you want to turn off or reset any blocker option, your partner will be notified and must approve the change. This feature can act as a form of parental control.
Available Accountability Partners: Myself, Friend/Parent, TimeDelay.

Block Apps & Websites/Keywords
Easily block any distracting websites, keywords, or apps from your blocklist page, helping you stay focused on your goals or studies.

YouTube Safe Search
By default, BlockerHero also blocks adult content on YouTube. If you try to search for any explicit content on YouTube, this app will block you from accessing the content immediately.

Focus Mode🕑
This feature is very important if you want more focus and productivity in life.
How it works: In focus mode, for example, you schedule a focus time (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM) then during the active focus time only Call/SMS and your custom-selected apps are allowed, other apps will be blocked.

Important permissions required by the app:
1. Accessibility Service(BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE): This permission is used to block adult websites and apps on your phone.
2. System alert window(SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): This permission is used to display a blocked window overlay over the blocked adult content also helps us to enforce safe search on browsers.
3. Device admin app(BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN): This permission is used to prevent you from uninstalling the BlockerHero app.
