Cirrus Healthcare ProductsAbout this app
WeatherX Forecast solves the problem of migraine triggers by alerting users to forecasted barometric pressure shifts, making it a valuable tool for individuals who suffer from migraines. This app stands out in the Health And Fitness category due to its unique focus on barometric pressure, which is not commonly found in other weather or health apps. The app's high user rating of 4.3/5 and 50,000+ downloads suggest that it is well-received by its target audience. However, its limited feature set and lack of in-app purchases or premium features may make it less competitive with other health and fitness apps.
Pros
- The app's high user rating of 4.3/5 and significant download numbers indicate a high level of user satisfaction and social proof, suggesting that it is effective in helping users manage migraine triggers.
- The app's unique focus on barometric pressure shifts sets it apart from other weather and health apps, making it a valuable tool for individuals who suffer from migraines.
- The developer's reputation and website suggest a legitimate and trustworthy company, which is important for users who are sharing personal health information.

- The app's free model with no ads or in-app purchases provides a seamless and uninterrupted user experience, which is important for users who are managing a chronic condition like migraines.
Cons
- The app's limited feature set may make it less competitive with other health and fitness apps, which often offer a wider range of features and functionalities.
- The lack of in-app purchases or premium features may limit the app's ability to generate revenue, which could impact its long-term viability and ability to provide updates and support.
- The app's reliance on forecasted barometric pressure shifts may not be 100% accurate, which could lead to false positives or negatives and impact the user's ability to effectively manage their migraines.
- The app's compatibility with only Android 8.0 and above may limit its accessibility for users with older devices, which could be a concern for users who are not able to upgrade their devices.

Amazing app! So useful. The only thing I wish for is that the push notifications would also say whether it's a rise or fall in pressure. They both affect me, but slightly differently and having that info in the push notification would be great, rather than having to open the app to figure out which it is because sometimes I'm not near my phone and get the notification on my watch.
it's a cool app, I just wish "current" was 24-48 hour previous and 24-48 future on the same graph. instead of switching back and forth.. current "now" could be in the middle of the graph. sometimes it's nice to see the trend of the pressure change.. either what we felt or what we are going to feel. thanks.
I have been using this app for almost 3 years. The custom notification settings have been life altering. Literally! Oct. 23 2025 I regret having to Update my 5 star review. The app has changed in that the forecast, history, and alerts are no longer available unless one pays for a premium version, (per app page). I relied heavily on the app to monitor and alert me of changes that caused migraines. As a person on a disability income, I cannot afford the premium, so I deleted the app.
Previously this was a life saver, but after the latest update the app is completely broken. Not worth using. You can't change locations, view graphs, etc.
The app only gives predictions of total rise or fall in barometric pressure, with no indication of how many hours the change will take. The amount of time varies from occurrence to occurrence. This renders it totally useless for me. There is no way to set a notification for a particular change over a given period of time, which is, in fact, what tends to trigger migraines - the rate of the change. Also, the current pressure does not seem to update very often.
