I kept up my account with CMC Invest after BOQ Trading. They're really good and I only recently got on the App. Their documents and filing is advanced. There's opportunities in Crypto now, and I've had a lash at that. I have an advisory account with another firm. I researched and consulted before establishing a share trade portfolio with CMC. I was similar at uni, becoming familiar with Library Information Service brought me back, a second time.

I switched from buying my shares via CommSec to CMC because of their fee-free purchase options (up to $1000 per share, per day). Would be 5 star if the Watch List in the app had the same details as the website. I use Watch List to track my shares held elsewhere (e.g. Vanguard). Fixing this would allow me to stop using the CommSec app.

UPDATE Yes, better, and no worse than any of the bank apps that do the same. UPDATE I don't want MFA I just want the app to stop storing my login name and showing on the screen when I open the app. I can't clear it by deleting cache. ORIGINAL REVIEW Nice app but it stores my login name so that anyone can see it when they open the app. All they then need is to crack the password to clean me out. Uninstalling and sticking to website.

The app is very disappointing with several problems: 1. you can check status of securities but not indices, there is no way to add NYSE, S&P, Nikkei etc. You can add ETFs for these but not the stocks or it's not clear how 2. You cannot see how much money you have transferred in, even the web browser platform for CMC has no report where I can see how much I have transferred in or out of my account

Edit again: Back to a terrible experience with the app once again. Want to log on during the weekend? Good luck! Within about two seconds of logging on your "session expires" and you'll be kicked back off. If you're lucky you might get three seconds, giving you about half second to check your balances. I was assured that this was because I am logged onto the desktop and mobile app at the same time. I am not. I wasn't then either. Terrible if you have assets which trade 24/7. Completey unusable.
