A multipurpose health volunteer will be trained in the short term.
Any volunteer member of the community selected by the concerned community clinic/selection committee/management committee by following specific criteria and selection process who will work or cooperate in the field of disease prevention, health improvement and rehabilitation and any other urgent needs in their own community and work specific A multipurpose health volunteer will receive a monthly incentive based on the achievement of targets. A multipurpose health volunteer must be accountable to the community for his work.
It needs to be mentioned here that in the existing health care structure system, the scope of work of an MHV will be fixed and he will receive training in short term; But he will not be included in the permanent health infrastructure.
