Love exploring the world of small press on this app as well as big named titles. Covers such a huge span of comics and all for an absolute minimal subscription fee. 14 days free trial as well. Can't grumble. Would be lost without this app now. Really easy to use, great interface. Brilliant app
A good selection of comics available a good alternative to the big comic companies very reasonably priced with part of the cost going to the creators
It's a great collection of comics and creators but there's a lot of room for. improvement. 1: There seems to be almost no way to easily access social media info for the creators or the publications which is where most indies live and die. 2: Many creators are putting their old work or the equivalent of "episode one" on the service and then not adding their subsequent updates which, whilst that's their perogative, it really makes the service feel more like a demo/trybeforeyoubuy service. Which you pay for. AND watch adverts to use. If this wants to reach "Netflix for indie comics" status truly, it feels like it's going to have to do a lot more to incentivise creators to not use it this way. I personally won't be renewing my sub, specifically on the second point.
The comics seem interesting, but issues like the comic viewer itself being a small window, difficulty navigating the app and more, it is currently unusable for me. I hope the app gets a redo, cause the concept is glorious
Good selection of indie comics, TERRIBLE App. First of all, it requires me to log in every time I open the app. Second, I spent about an hour browsing the books and added about a dozen comics to my "favorites" list, but the next time I opened the app, they were all gone! The same thing happened when I tried to create an "off-line" list. No way would I pay a dime for a subscription! It's a shame, because they have a nice selection and it hurts indie creators who I'd love to support
