Rewards for sustainable use of your vehicle: In the Mercedes-Benz Eco Coach App you receive points for your individual activities, which can subsequently be exchanged for attractive bonus rewards. You can also take up exciting challenges to boost your points tally.

The Mercedes-Benz Eco Coach App additionally provides you with a simple and convenient means of controlling your all-electric vehicle's maximum state of charge, allowing you to determine the level to which you wish to charge your battery.

Simply install the Mercedes-Benz Eco Coach App on your smartphone, activate the Mercedes-Benz Eco Coach service at the Mercedes me Portal and away you go.

Update: Mercedes were extremely swift in responding to my previous feedback and do now appear to have resolved the issue, i.e. Mercedes Me not opening with the Eco Coach installed. Thank you. Yet to fully test the features, but looks useful.

As an "eco coach" how about rewards for higher miles per KWh? Or rewards for not using the car for a day? In the mercedes me app it's miles per KWh but KWh per 100 miles. I would prefer the miles per KWh. I like the idea of the graph but I feel it isn't very well executed.

Update #4. I will be giving up using this app. I've persisted for weeks but it's too unreliable. For me, the app no longer logs driving seasons. Nothing logged in over a week. Charging and parking are logged, but zero miles recorded. This makes the app totally useless if unreliable and prevents participation in community challenges. Developer... no updates since May?

Driving and parking doesn't get tracked since update. It apears that the app looses connection with the car from time to time and no driving gets logged. As a result defies the objective of collecting pointd or monitoring driving pattern. It also lacks other useful statistics that could give you insight about driving. Use of aircon, use of other electronic on the car, air quality etc etc...
