Love everything about the strange and paranormal as I do? If so this Mag is a must. Simple as that.

Bare bones reading app, with pinch to zoom on each page. It could use a couple of simple upgrades - particularly the ability to save issues to an SD card instead of internal memory. If your phone doesn't have much internal memory, downloading issues is annoying. Otherwise, it does what it says on the tin and that's all I ask. The magazine itself is fantastic, but sometimes difficult to read with pinch to zoom due to the layout. Still, the quality of the images is good, and it is nice to be able to zoom in on certain spots in images and such. If you can't get the paper version, this isn't a bad choice.

Recent changes to the app render photos in a mild yet discomforting, pixilated state. Makes for a bad reading experience when the visuals are as important as the text. Other changes include having to scroll from page 1 to find the article you were reading, should you have reason to leave the app for any reason. Before this update, you could simply pick up where you left off. Fortean Times is such a great publication, it's a pity its digital representation is now such a let down.

I installed this app because Google removed Fortean Times (along with all other print-replica magazines) from Google News. This app is not as good as the Google Play News app, because unlike the Play News app, it doesn't have an optional decluttered reading mode, has no proper font options (just pinch to zoom), does not reflow text when zoomed and does not work at all well with text to speech screen-readers. I will not resubscribe unless it is improved. I wish I'd gone with the print version.

Backwards Step Pictures appear pixalated won't be subscribing to the digital edition any longer if this isn't corrected. Also lost latest 2 issues , cleared cache etc ,just pretty bad and not as good as last app.
