This news app do not have no weather alert sounds to alert you for bad weather. What I can't never understand that amber alert has sound alert you . why don't this app and other news and weather apps on playstore have no weather alert sounds like amber alert does.

I'm a big fan of KHOU but this app is pretty dreadful. Notifications often link to blank screens or unrelated stories. When you do get to the story, it sometimes includes a text summary, but often only a video link. And these videos don't always play easily either. If I care about the story I usually end up resorting to opening KHOU in my browser and finding it. Also the app is just loaded with adware to the extent it obscures the content. You're the best TV news in Houston, KHOU, DO BETTER!!!!!

Often, it doesn't get past the splash screen when selecting the notification. Restarting the app fixes it, but you must hunt for the story you want to view since restarting it takes you to the default home page/overview.
