El Pais is fantastic source of authoritative and well-written articles, but I'm afraid that I have to give the app itself only 4 stars for now. What would make this a 5 star app is: (1) to have an audio option for each article, as is now standard with The Economist and the Washington Post; (2) to enable dark mode, with either an option in the app itself or allowing the app to default to the smartphone's own dark mode setting.

Parece ser que se ha mejorado la interface. Sí, en parte. Lo que constato es que, al intentar hacer un comentario, el recuadro de mi comentario queda totalmente cubierto por el teclado en mi móvil, con lo cual no puedo controlar lo que escribo, salvo ocultándolo y mostrándolo alternativamente. Una pesadilla que antes de la "mejora" no se presentaba

Very disappointed with the app's design and functionality. Basic and poor. So many improvements needed! Sad to see the content is badly let down by the app. Not very user friendly. Hate the cheap advertising and so many things... So much to learn from The Guardian and others... I will continue reading the Guardian, for which I will happily pay a full subscription for when I have to. I doubt I will renew El Pais. Even paying a discountted rate.

I pay a monthly subscription to see advertisements on the bottom of my screen?! Also it asks me to log in every now and then - poor functionality. Some of the news are not accessible in the app and it asks for you to go to the web, after which you land on main page and have to search manually for what you were reading. This app is a straight up scam.
