FizbyteAbout this app
ReDo Loop: Recurring Tasks is a minimalist productivity app that solves the problem of managing daily chores and routines, benefiting individuals who value simplicity and ease of use. With its excellent 5.0/5 user rating, it stands out in the Productivity category for its clean design and effectiveness. Compared to alternatives, ReDo Loop's lack of permissions and absence of ads make it a compelling choice for users prioritizing privacy and minimalism. However, its limited feature set might fall short for power users seeking more comprehensive task management capabilities.
Pros
- The app's exceptional user rating of 5.0/5 indicates a high level of user satisfaction, suggesting that it effectively meets the needs of its target audience.
- With zero permissions required, ReDo Loop demonstrates a strong commitment to user privacy and security, reducing the risk of data collection and misuse.
- The absence of ads ensures an uninterrupted user experience, allowing individuals to focus on managing their tasks without distractions.
- The developer's reputation, as evident from their website and email support, suggests a dedicated team available for feedback and updates, which is crucial for an app's long-term viability.
- The app's minimalist design makes it easily accessible to a wide range of users, including those who are less tech-savvy or prefer simple, intuitive interfaces.
Cons
- The app's limited feature set might not cater to the needs of advanced users who require more complex task management features, such as project planning or team collaboration tools.
- The in-app purchase model, although not overly aggressive, might deter some users who prefer a one-time payment or ad-supported model, potentially limiting the app's appeal to a broader audience.
- The lack of detailed information about the app's data storage and privacy policies could raise concerns among users who prioritize data security, despite the app requiring no permissions.
- The relatively low number of downloads, currently at 1,000+, might indicate a smaller community and potentially less frequent updates or support compared to more popular productivity apps.
Best for: The ideal user for ReDo Loop: Recurring Tasks is an individual, likely between the ages of 18 and 50, who values simplicity, ease of use, and privacy in a productivity app, and has basic to intermediate technical skills, seeking to manage daily chores and routines without the complexity of more comprehensive task management tools.
Developer Description
Minimalist Chores & Routines
Relaxed repeats
Most apps repeat on fixed dates. With Relaxed, ReDo repeats after you complete a task — so “every 3 months” means 3 months after you last did it.
A calm list that stays clear
Tasks move through Upcoming (early), Do (today), and Overdue (late), so you always know what needs attention next.
Repeat tasks your way
• Relaxed — after you complete the task
• Fixed — specific dates or weekdays
• Positional — first Monday, last weekend day, last day, etc.
• Daily — everyday routines
• Once — one-time reminders (dated or someday)
• Anytime — simple tracking with optional notes
No accounts. No ads. No analytics. Works offline with local data.
Free to use with limited functionality. Upgrade to Premium to unlock all features.
Privacy
Given that ReDo Loop requires no permissions, the risk of data collection is significantly minimized. However, users should still be cautious about the data they store within the app, as with any digital tool. To further enhance privacy, users can consider using a secure lock screen and keeping their device's operating system and apps updated.
Tips
To get the most out of ReDo Loop, users should start by setting up recurring tasks for daily routines, such as reminders for medication or exercise. Utilizing the app's minimalist design to create simple, yet effective, task lists can help maintain a clutter-free interface. Additionally, exploring the app's settings for customization options can enhance the user experience and tailor the app to individual needs.

ReDo Loop: Recurring Tasks users say on Google Play
It is a clean, simple UI. Lifetime subscription is reasonably priced as a one-time charge. I feel it's worth it! It uses emoji to help make labels easier. You can add a bit of text, but nothing too complicated. No "virtual pet" to care for. No "virtual plant" to "water." This app is easy on you if you miss a date for your task! Perfect for those with adhd!
Finally, I found this app, which can replace the beloved Regularly app. I just miss one thing so far. I would like to see the history per task. For example, for doctor's visits it is useful.
