This is a great game with engaging story. I only have two main issues with it--first of all, the ending art and sequence was so beautiful but I can't watch/see it again after the first time I beat the game. Secondly, the interface could've been better, but this is fixed in their later game. Great to see the developers' progress as I play through their games in the chronological order. Also they have a great talent in writing stories. Every time I find myself keep playing to see what's next.
Awesome game, lots of levels that always feel fresh, great way to pass the time. Pretty tame on the ads, so that's also great. Sadly, the larger puzzles get too small for the screen, the zoom sucks and it becomes very easy to make input mistakes. However, the game is very generous with lives and doesn't punish you for it, so it's forgiveable.
Coming in from Two Eyes, the UI seems like a step down in this game. The board background border, the numbers on the top and left side, and the number that counts square selection are similar-ish yellow which makes things hard to see (or even makes things 'disappear'). There's also a banner ad at the bottom of the screen which nearly blocks the second line of story dialogue and WILL completely block any subsequent lines (if there are any, I barely started). Two Eyes didn't have this banner.
This is a cute game, I could do without all the story stuff and just have more puzzles, but most seem to be this way now. It uses a high amount of resources because of the 'story' part. Considering it's just a picross game it is also a privacy nightmare. It constantly collects data completely unnecessary to game function. I got about 400+ notifications from my privacy blocker in one 15 minute session. Everything from my GPS coordinates to my battery percentage. Might delete because of it.
My biggest complaint is I paid for no ads, turn the sound off and am regularly bombarded by noise/ads sounds.
