From my point of view, one of the most complete apps for medium/advanced students. It rates your skills and provides you a general impresión of them, so you can see what do you need to reinforce and work. It's worth what it cost... Unfortunately, it's maybe too expensive for some personal budgets.

Great personalized lessons. I've subscribed because it looks and seems like one of the best learning apps on the market with a great balance between grammar, listening, reading and writing and with a very precise way of correcting your mistakes. And the stories are nice. Cons: Very high subscription price. And unless you subscribe to the gold tier, you get only 5 short (10-15 min) lessons a week, and if for some reason you miss a day, too bad, only four lessons that week! Not cool for 50€/month.

Gymglish offers a fun method for learning. However, it's somewhat disappointing that you're required to schedule the days you wish to learn beforehand. Should you happen to miss a lesson, there's no option to catch up on it later. This approach strikes me as peculiar and somewhat limiting, considering the flexibility often needed in learning schedules.

The lessons were really hard and they didn't seem to learn my skill level. It was super discouraging to see 40% and 50% every lesson. I felt like I was failing. Also the lessons definitely took me closer to 30 mins, not 15. When I was consistent, I did notice improvement but I found it really frustrating to consistently be presented with questions I didn't know the answer to (some of which I had never been taught!) For this price it's probably better to get a tutor and a textbook.

Huge disappointment. I have Spanish and French. Unhappy, leant nearly nothing, I have private lessons with Mexican and French tutor and advise was uninstall as its not helpful. Unluckily they let me know that under terms and conditions I have to pay next 2 and hal years... I was so naive. Duolingo podcast and 5000 worlds was unimaginable better
