App works but needs some work. Using a Galaxy S21 Ultra. Works fine but at times can be very buggy where it unpairs while being on the bike or just quits unexpectedly while flashing. Luckily crash recovery and data saving was coded well so its easy to continue where you left off. I'd like it if Harley will come out with a new race tuner like the old Orange ones. Many of us don't give 3 craps about the EPA or warranty. Don't get me wrong, included tunes are great. Us tinkerers like more power!
This app is decent and works to program your bike 'in the field's without wires or needing a laptop. It takes just a couple of minutes to put the bike into tuning mode, then ride and record. The app will take any of the recordings you made and aggregate them into one, new, overall map for your bike. Huge step forward from the 'old' way.
I give it 3 because it is easier to use than other tuners I've used on other bikes. But, it is very slow to respond, will not let me access the final "confirm" on a tune unless I choose smart tune, and when I choose the correct tune for my bike and install it, my bike stays then runs eradictly and dies. Code reader says the tune is incompatible with my ecm. Next step is to buy the laptop cord and write a custom tune or take it to the shop and pay to have them reset it back to stock...
I bought the tuner about a month ago and after struggling to get the app to run a full update I finally go it working so I was able to set my bike computer to the random stage 1 settings. But now I can't ge the app to recognize the tuner anymore. I've unpaired and repaired the tuner in my phone, and have a solid green light in the tuner when it's plugged into the bike but the app is not detecting the tuner so I can't actually tune my bike.
After buying the tuner, I went online and reviewed several tutorials on the installation and use. I hooked it up and started the process. I was able to pair the device with the tuner, but that's as far as I got. It was very glitchy, and I could not finish the recommended tune. So I back out and attempted the process again. The device would no longer pair with my phone. At this point, I have a very expensive paperweight. I've attempted several times, I cannot get past pairing the device.
