Scandinavian Walking - Nordic Fitness known as walking with poles (urban poling)
XWalk is a Nordic Walking App, designed for those that do Scandinavian walking also known as stick walking, pole walking, urban polling and exerstriding. The walking tracker app allows you to do pace monitoring, walking calorie counting, set walking goals and in the future connect with nordic walking groups in your area.
The app is a walking workout, with an extra push. Nordic walking app (XWalk) was designed for the purpose of helping people lose weight, improve mental state by doing outdoor walking exercise and ideal to train for those that are cross country walking, hiking or trekking.
XWalk Features include:
- Keep track of your walking distance, pace monitoring and calories burned
- Set customized reminders to never miss a walk
- Lose weight by keeping track of calories and progress
- Get inspired with clear goals utilizing famous treks around the world!
- See your progress on daily, weekly and monthly

- Travelers who plan on embarking on a life changing journey to hike one of the many famous treks can use the app by walking the distance of famous locations without leaving their cities!
Nordic walk refers to walking with poles to balance your walking stride. It allows for perfect placement and movements of both upper body and lower body as you engage with fitness walking with poles. Walking workout can be used as a cross country walking, as part of group walks with a Nordic pole to making walking workout a full body workout. Nordic walking training is not needed, as you do not need walking training. All you need is a pair of walking shoes and trekking pole (also known as walking pole, hiking stick).
