Citizen Conan (formerly Phishing Eyes Police) is Korea's only "Voice Phishing Joint Response Network Service" designed to prevent voice phishing.

Citizen Conan was born from the idea that financial institutions should be able to detect risks and block financial transactions like transfers and loans even when victims aren't aware.

It's Korea's first free voice phishing prevention service that proactively blocks financial transactions when signs of voice phishing are detected through real-time collaboration with partner financial institutions.

Over the past 3.5 years, it has prevented approximately KRW 6.7 trillion in damage, and has evolved into a voice phishing prevention platform that prevents even greater damage the more we collaborate.

[App Access Permissions]
In accordance with the Information and Communications Network Act, which came into effect on March 23, 2017, for user protection regarding smartphone app access permissions, Citizen Conan only accesses the essential services required for the service, as detailed below.

1. Required Access Permissions
- Device and App History: Required to detect voice phishing malware.
- Messages: Detect smishing in unsaved number messages.
- Phone: Collects mobile phone numbers and uses them to prevent financial damage in cooperation with affiliated financial institutions.

2. Optional Access Permissions
- Notifications: Required to provide real-time notifications of detected threats.
You can still use the service without granting optional access permissions, but some features may be restricted.

*Individual consent to access permissions is not possible for operating systems older than Android 6.0. Therefore, we recommend using your device's software update function to update your operating system to Android 6.0 or higher.
