Canvas Parent provides visibility into your child's education at a glance.

Traditionally, parents seeking information about their students' progress had to sift through assignment planners, email instructors, or wait for report cards. But the wait is over! Canvas Parent is designed to provide visibility into your child's education at a glance. Canvas Parent allows parents to:

• View assignment descriptions and due dates
• Set reminders for assignments
• View assignment grades
• View course grades
• Set grade alerts
• View course announcements

Important: This mobile app is only usable by parents whose children attend schools that have enabled Canvas Parent.

- Fixed an issue where newly sent messages would not appear immediately in the inbox
- Fixed issue where submission details page would change theme after rotating device
- Fixed crash when attempting to download attachments with invalid URLs.
- Parent app now requests notification permission on first launch to enable download notifications.

Update: The calendar finally started working but stopped again. I haven't been able to use it since January. It says, "There was an error loading your calendar." Once again, I have signed out and back in. Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I gave it 2 stars because the calendar does not work. It just keeps telling me there was an error in loading my students calendar. I have refreshed it, Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I still cannot get the calendar to work.

Garbage. Zero notifications ever received. All settings are set to have notification on. Even uninstalled and reinstalled, also removed student and re-paired with student and nothing. Assignments with a grade show as not submitted. Grades/scores are inconsistent and don't make sense. Student calendar does not load, only says "there was an error loading your student's calendar." The alerts tab says "an unexpected error occured." This is the only way I can see my child's grades, and I can't.
