With a high user rating of 4.7/5 and over 100,000 downloads, it stands out in the Game Puzzle category for its engaging gameplay and daily games. Compared to alternatives, Guriddo's Stradoku offers a fresh twist on traditional puzzle games, but its reliance on ads and in-app purchases might be a drawback for some users. The app's simplicity and lack of permissions required are notable advantages, making it a great option for those seeking a straightforward puzzle experience.
Pros
- The app's high user rating of 4.7/5 and moderate download numbers indicate a well-received and engaging game that has gained significant social proof, suggesting a polished and enjoyable experience.
- Guriddo: Stradoku Number Game requires zero permissions, which is a significant advantage in terms of user privacy and security, as it minimizes potential data collection and misuse.
- The presence of daily games provides users with a consistent stream of new content, keeping the game exciting and preventing it from becoming stale, which is a common issue with puzzle games.
- The developer's active engagement, as indicated by the availability of a website and email for contact, suggests a commitment to user support and potential for future updates and improvements.
- The option for in-app purchases allows users to enhance their gaming experience, although it's worth noting that the base game is free, offering a significant amount of content without requiring immediate payment.
Cons
- The inclusion of ads in a puzzle game might disrupt the user experience, especially if the ads are intrusive or frequent, which could negatively impact the overall enjoyment of the game.
- The monetization model, which includes in-app purchases ranging from $0.79 to $12.99 per item, might be seen as aggressive by some users, potentially leading to a sense of nickel-and-diming or pressure to spend money to progress.
- The lack of information about the specific data collected by the ads, given that the app itself requires no permissions, could raise privacy concerns among users who are cautious about their data usage and collection.
- Some users might find the game's reliance on daily games to be limiting, as it might not offer enough content for those who prefer to play at their own pace or want more control over their gaming experience.
Best for: The ideal user for Guriddo: Stradoku Number Game is likely an individual who enjoys puzzle games, specifically those who have experience with Sudoku or similar logic-based games, and is looking for a new challenge with daily content, possessing a moderate level of technical skill and an appreciation for straightforward, ad-supported gaming experiences without excessive complexity or steep learning curves.

Because of my eyesight I needed high contrast notes. The developer added it to his to-do list and now I can play much easier! Awesome!!
Love the game but there's a bug that bothers me quite a bit... Currently, when you click for a hint in a competitive game, it sets the timer to 5 minutes instantly, even if you click away from the hint without using it. So sometimes I just use a hint for nothing and lose time. I would also suggest leaving the choice to the user to highlight all of the same number (including the notes) when selecting a number on the grid.
This is an awesome game! However, your new ad format has me taking you down to three stars. I don't mind the ads, but they are way too long. I would happily pay for the game if you gave me the option of paying one time, not a recurring charge. Even with how good this game is, it's not worth paying money every month for it. Charge me a few bucks once and I'm in.
The game is amazing, but I think you need to rethink your business model. I understand the recurring costs of leaderboards, but I honestly don't care about the social features. If I could pay you once to play the game as it was a while back, but with no leaderboards, I would do that. Paying monthly for a feature I don't use at all is not a option for me. The limitation on checks and how many times I can play the daily challenges made the game unplayable for me.
I used to like this game but now the ads are those annoying super stimulating ones 🙄
