Playing Tectonic is EASY and FUN. A Tectonic logic puzzle contains several boxes outlined in bold, ranging in size from 1 to 5 cells. You must assign all the cells a number according to how many have been outlined for that box, so that all 1-cell zones contain only a 1, two-cell zones contain a 1 and 2, three-cell zones contain a 1, 2 and 3 and so on. A number cannot ever touch the same number - horizontally, vertically nor diagonally. You'll quickly discover that there's more to solving this Sudoku alternative than meets the eye!

One of my favorite games is Sudoku. I love any game that involves numbers and words. This game is similar than Sudoku, except, to me, it is, even, more complex. I love a good challenge, and this gives me just exactly what I want and need. Games like these keep my mind sharp. I think anyone that is getting older... 67...should play games that work their mind as much as possible... it might even help people that are prone to dementia, and, maybe, Alzheimer's, if people would work their mind more.

The game itself is great. You need credits to play which you can buy or earn by watching ads. I experienced a glitch where I watched ads but the credits wouldn't add to my account. I had to uninstall as I could no longer play.

Suguru by another name. Once you've finished the free games, you can continue to play for free by watching adverts to pay for credits. HOWEVER, the system soon starts to malfunction, with points appearing then immediately vanishing. Sometimes they reappear later, sometimes not. Often, before you can collect sufficient points (more than enough having already disappeared), a message will appear telling you that there are no more ads available - preventing you from playing. Eventually, the whole app crashed. Tried reinstalling it but the same thing happened.

So it's a simple (though not easy) number puzzle game which is not bad. Unfortunately the app itself is terrible and just gives you a few puzzle for free then charges you credits - lots of them per puzzle, and they're expensive, and it starts to hassle you about making accounts and stuff - 250 free credits to make an account! It sounds like a lot until you realize that'll buy you only 5 puzzles or so. So, like so many android games, good game, awful, awful app design
