Door Kickers v1.1.47
KillHouse GamesAbout this app
Door Kickers is a tactical strategy game that solves the problem of providing a challenging and realistic SWAT-command experience, benefiting fans of the genre who value complexity and depth. Compared to alternatives in the Game Strategy category, Door Kickers stands out with its award-winning gameplay and quick tactics, but may fall short in terms of graphics and multiplayer features. With a strong user rating of 4.2/5 and over 500,000 downloads, it has established itself as a well-received title. The game's focus on single-player experience and lack of in-app purchases make it an attractive option for those seeking an uninterrupted gaming experience.
Pros
- The game's high user rating of 4.2/5 and moderate download numbers of over 500,000 indicate a well-designed and engaging gameplay experience that has resonated with players.
- The absence of ads and in-app purchases ensures an uninterrupted gaming experience, allowing players to focus on the game without distractions or pressure to spend additional money.
- The developer, KillHouse Games, has a reputation for creating high-quality games, as evident from their website and email support, which suggests a commitment to customer satisfaction and post-launch support.
- The game's offline capability and lack of permissions requests make it a secure and private option for players who value their data and want to play without internet connectivity.
- The game's regular updates, as indicated by the version number 1.1.47, suggest that the developer is actively maintaining and improving the game, which is a positive sign for long-term player engagement.
Cons
- The game's graphics and sound design may not be as polished as some other titles in the Game Strategy category, which could be a turn-off for players who prioritize visual and audio quality.
- The lack of multiplayer features may limit the game's replay value and appeal to players who enjoy competing with others or playing with friends.
- Some players may find the game's difficulty level and learning curve to be steep, which could lead to frustration and a negative experience if not properly managed.
- The game's price of $3.99 may be considered steep by some players, especially those who are accustomed to free-to-play or lower-priced titles in the same genre.
Best for: The ideal user for Door Kickers is a strategy game enthusiast, likely between the ages of 18 and 40, with a medium to high level of technical skill, who values complex gameplay, realistic scenarios, and a challenging experience, and is willing to invest time and effort into mastering the game's mechanics and tactics.
Developer Description
The unforgiving, award winning SWAT-command quick tactics game.
*** RockPaperShotgun’s 'Bestest Best Tactics game' award ***
*** “Door Kickers is a game about cops kicking down doors, and these doors are a lot of fun to kick down. It is also very hard, and I love it for that.” ***
84/100 – PC Gamer / Ian Birnbaum
*** ”It evokes lot of the more demanding thrills that modern games have left behind, the grit and the hard won satisfaction of overcoming intimidating challenges, or the experimental fun of spending hours tinkering with all the different ways you can play through a big, open-ended level. I had a blast inching my way through pretty much all of the harder stages in this game and I also think you might have a blast with it too.” ***
Super Bunnyhop
*** “It’s a thing of beauty and manages to capture the planning and satisfying execution of more complex strategy games, as well as the gung-ho and the popping-off of growly man in military shooters. (...) It’s probably the best man-shootery game I’ve played in years.” ***
Indie Statik
Door Kickers mixes old school, no-quarter action/strategy with modern ergonomic interfaces and puts you in command of a SWAT team during a tactical intervention.
Analyze the situation, plan team routes, choose equipment and breach points, and coordinate multiple troopers to reach the hostage room before the bad guys get to press that trigger.
Includes a new campaign, as well as full cross-platform saves compatibility and an all-new interface designed specifically for touch based platforms.
It may sound daunting, and like real world CQB combat, it sure is. But most levels can be completed in minutes and on the fly improvisation works. Achieving the perfect planning, getting the mission done with no false steps and losing no people, that’s a skill harder to master.
Quick Points:
§ 80 single missions, 6 campaigns and unlimited gameplay via mission generator
§ Over 65 weapons and gear items to use and overcome the enemy.
§ Top Down perspective for optimal strategic analysis
§ Real Time With Free Pause
§ No turns, no hexes, no action points or awkward interfaces
§ Realistic but action packed
§ Non-linear levels, freeform strategy

Door Kickers users say on Google Play
I've wanted this game for literally years but kept getting distracted by f2p shooters. I was wrong. This is peak mobile gaming. The interface is a little dated, you can tell the budget wasn't high, but what it lacks in refinement is made up for in the most satisfying gameplay ever. Stunning work. I'd give it more stars if I could. Would pay money for a sequel.
Best game of this kind on mobile, although the controls don't work as well as they should. Generally it's the multi-layered levels that become the most problematic. That & even though you can change the path colors for different operatives, making the wrong touch somewhere can erase entire plans. Biggest problem though is this came out on mobile in late 2015. Why is the sequel not out on mobile yet? It's been out on PC for almost 5 years. Nothing should take 10 years to develop.
This game needs achievements.I cant capitalize the letters when renaming and why is there no female voice over for female characters? And when is the next update?
Download this game because it was tagged "offline." It's a fun and well made tactics game, but it does require an Internet connection to keep playing. Every few days when disconnected, starting the game will only open the Google Play store, telling you it's not connected to the Internet. Defeats the whole purpose of me buying it.
This game is NOT PLAYABLE OFFLINE, the offline tag is a lie. you get a mission or two offline and then you are forced to connect to Google play services, which locks you out of the game until it can connect. no matter if you reset the game or your device. ridiculous.
