EDIT: It's working great now, and really like the updated version. Back up to five stars! Have used this app for years, but suddenly it's not working. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, no change. The main page is frozen, nothing happens when you click on anything. Not great when storms are headed this way!

More accurate temps than my default phone weather app. The radar is very good, however I wish there were an easier way to see all the custom overlay types that it has. The main menu carousel feels responsive, but is an odd and outdated way to navigate. I only use 3/6 of the rotating tiles. I could do without the video ads before every single one of the forecast vids, but at least they start muted. Would love to see the Flourish infographics on here that are on the website.

I love KXAN and would like to receive notifications especially during storms. However, this stupid app chimes when there is an update/notification but there is no notification on my phone. Go to the app and its tricky navigate or tell what the notification was about. I've checked the settings in the app and my phone to no avail. I even have a brand new phone and it still does the same thing. I moved to a more tornado prone area and had hoped this could help as sort of an early warning system.
