AeroWeather provides quick and intuitive access to METAR and TAF for airports worldwide. Data can be shown in its original (raw) format or as fully decoded and easy understandable texts. AeroWeather is helpful for weather preflight-briefings, but also to just get very precise weather. All weather data is cached for offline access. There are many settings for units and format of METAR/TAF available.

The app features a built-in airport database, which includes basic airport data like runways*, sunrise/sunset, twilight times, timezones etc.

Flying professionally, it's my go-to app for wx ck's when getting a picture of my routes that day & quick ck's throughout the day. Although it's not an approved wx data sight, I've never seen the data decoding wrong due to malformatted METAR/TAF, it's always been accurate. I love the quick reference to surrounding meteorlogical conditions with the colored "flight rule" indicators on the data page and the maps! Subscribe to the ad free & additional services, it's only a few bucks.

Edit after reply: Changed to 4 stars. Thank you for the fix, it's much more usable now. Took some time, but glad it's better now. **** No point using this for notams. Bug currently shows notams at every airport that have been expired for months. Waste of time to try and read them

The app itself is good but it should be possible to import/export airports and groups to IOS app with same name but different developer. I've requested this several years ago. Cooperation is a good thing!
