The Syriac alphabet (ܐܠܦ ܒܝܬ ܣܘܪܝܝܐ ʾālep̄ bêṯ Sūryāyā) is used to write classical Syriac as well as several neo-Aramaic varieties, such as Chaldean, Assyrian, and Turoyo among others.These varieties and the alphabet are typically associated with Christians but are closely related to varieties of Judeo-Aramaic as well as Mandaic.
Use this app to learn the letters and different accent markings, and test yourself with the quiz and word building games. There is also a typing game for those who have a keyboard installed.
