LEGO® Powered Up v4.2.0
LEGO System A/SAbout this app
Developer Description
Bring your LEGO® Powered Up models to life through Coding and Remote Controls.
The LEGO Powered Up app puts you in the driver’s seat of the awesome 4-wheel-drive Batmobile to speed through the streets of GOTHAM CITY™. Drive forwards, backwards, left and right… or pull 360-degree turns! You can even activate cool tricks and stunts as you become the Dark Knight and fight crime. You can customize and code your Batmobile tricks and choose your sounds and movements – pretty awesome!
The LEGO Powered Up app also controls LEGO trains to haul goods or pick up passengers around LEGO City. You can control the speed, change directions, and bring even more life to your play with various sounds such as a whistle, passenger announcement, railroad crossing bell, and more! The Bluetooth remote control app and the remote control handset included in the LEGO City train sets aren’t compatible with older infrared remote-controlled LEGO train sets.
Thanks to Powered Up components like hubs, motors, sensors, and lights you will be able to bring your customized creations to life. You can also bring your existing LEGO models to life.

I absolutely love this app! Easy to use, very simple programming and even the compatibility with the hubs. Keep it up Lego and hopefully you'll bring out another update that lets us have compatibility with the Lego Technic Move Hub that would make the app so much better!
Version 3.9.1 was great. - Fixed most of the bugs, such as controls remaining on screen. - Made the controls smaller, so that more controls can fit on the screen. AWESOME. But what's up with the latest version 4.0.3 The Create section has been changed to some kind of weird brain icons. IMPORTANT: I use the Powered Up app with the Technic 88012 hub. We MUST do a firmware update using the CONTROL+ app before using the Powered Up app, or the motors will behave eratically.
The app canvas freezes every now and then, preventing scrolling on the canvas.
Was a great app before the new update which changed the icons. Its hard to use now. Because i ordered the motors by themselves i have to use custom build. Because this is now hard to use i have started using a third party controler app which is easier and has more features. This other controler app is called controlz for those wanting a easier and better way to control their mocs.
The latest version of the app appears to make the hub to stop working in random manner. Example - app will drive hub with 2 motors for a period of time before one motor stops working. The hub will emit some low frequency buzzing sound. I have tried using multiple hubs and motors and the same issue occurs. The only way to stop this is to restart the app. Even after the restart the issue will reappear after a few minutes. Version 3.11 of the app doesn't have this issue. Please fix!
