About this app
Binaural beats designed to enhance focus, support relaxation, and improve sleep.
This app features six pages: five dedicated to brainwave frequencies - Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma - and one dedicated to relaxing music waves. Each brainwave page includes two independent tone generators (Left and Right) with separate volume and frequency controls. Their sinusoidal waves can be adjusted between 50 Hz and 500 Hz.
Binaural sounds are auditory illusions produced when two tones of slightly different frequencies are presented separately to each ear. The brain perceives the frequency difference as a rhythmic beat, which can influence brainwave activity. Different binaural beat ranges correspond to specific brainwave patterns and may help guide various mental states such as meditation, concentration, relaxation, or deep sleep.
Below is a brief overview of each brainwave state and its associated effects:
1. Delta Waves (0.5-4 Hz)
Slowest brainwaves, dominant during deep, dreamless sleep.
Essential for physical healing, regeneration, and restorative sleep.
High delta activity is associated with unconsciousness or very deep meditation.
2. Theta Waves (4-8 Hz)
Present during deep relaxation, light sleep, or meditative states.
Linked to intuition, memory formation, and emotional processing.
Often experienced during hypnosis, creativity, or daydreaming.
3. Alpha Waves (8-12 Hz)
Correspond to a calm, relaxed, wakeful state without focused thought.
Associated with meditation, creativity, and mental unwinding.
Often considered a bridge between conscious and subconscious processes.
4. Beta Waves (12-30 Hz)
Dominant during active thinking, alertness, and focused mental tasks.
Common in everyday activities, especially decision-making and conversation.
Excessive beta activity may correlate with stress or heightened anxiety.
5. Gamma Waves (30-100 Hz)
Fastest measurable brainwaves, linked to high-level cognitive function.
Associated with concentration, memory recall, learning, and peak performance.
Often observed during intense problem-solving or moments of insight.
6. Music Waves
Calm, soothing music can naturally slow brainwave activity.
Helps promote relaxation, emotional balance, and deeper sleep.
Often enhances alpha and theta activity, supporting peaceful, meditative states.
