The game is far too fast and leans heavily into pay-to-win. Level-up rewards are so strong they overshadow everything else. Instead of careful strategy, it becomes a loop of retaking cities because armies arrive in minutes. Since you get most lost troops back, there’s little risk, and the optimal way to play is to attack mindlessly just to farm XP rather than think tactically.

Edited review 2026, I've been playing for 5 years off and on but they are now starting to add more content, but I think there needs a better skill based match making

Laggy, Pointless, and Broken Complete waste of time. The servers are absolute trash, expect constant disconnects and unplayable lag every time you open the app. The "gameplay" is a hollow, mindless loop. You conquer territory for no reason and with zero reward. There’s no meaningful interaction with other players, making the "multiplayer" aspect a joke. It’s a lonely, boring, stuttering mess. Save your battery and your sanity, don't download this!!!
