Voxel Invaders is a space shooter powered by true retro voxel graphics

Fight again waves of invaders in this refresh of old school arcade games, with graphics made of voxels.

Control is ultra simple, just move the spaceship in space with one finger, and auto-fire on the invaders. Collect power-up to obtain new weapons and lives, make your way through asteroid fields and collect power-up that suddenly switches to a 3D space mode.

- 24 levels containing more than 140 stages
- dozens of different alien invaders including big bosses

There are 36 levels but at level 33 you have to shoot Tetris blocks to leave blocks to clear the level with hardly enough time to see where the pieces are going or to shoot off the unwanted blocks. And the game already placed blocks most awkwardly before it starts so you're stuffed! Up to that level it's a great old fashioned shmup but you'll never finish it! EDIT..I reviewed this game in October 2020 so stop asking me to review it again!!

Fun…until 33-1. I was really enjoying the game until level 33-1 where Tetris pieces—that you can't move or rotate, just shoot pieces out of—fall and you have to clear the board to pass, then the game became 'being stuck behind a frustrating, brick wall.' This one damned level made me uninstall the game! It's a five star game up until this point…but it's completely free! ಥ‿ಥ

It's a fun space invaders type experience at first but it quickly changes to a bullet hell do nothing but avoid impossible swarms of enemy fire fail the level in 3 seconds disappointment.
