Great narrative, wonderfuly atmospheric with a huge dose of nostalgia. New life thanks to a cutting edge twist on smartphones, it's done very well. UI works brilliantly. Love it!

This is a pretty enjoyable, solid game. Gameplay is almost identical to the previous Fighting Fantasy Legends game, just with a different story, so if you played and enjoyed that one, you'll like this, and vice versa. There was an issue with the game not wanting to open at first, but uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the issue. My biggest complaint with this game is the total lack of anything resembling a tutorial. There is a "help" option in the menu, but it rather strangely leads to a website with FAQ/instructions for the Talisman physical/digital board game, not this one (they're two totally different games). The official website also has nothing in the way of a manual/instructions for this game. If I hadn't played the game's predecessor I would have been totally lost. As it was, I was only somewhat lost. New players, beware. Other than that, though, this is a decent game. I just hope they don't ruin it with super expensive IAPs for the expansions.

I would give 5/5 but drives me crazy that I have almost zero chance to heal myself and whenever I fight I can't replenish my health by eating provisions or similar, not like in the real fighting fantasy books, When I die after I have to walk (restart) again and again from the entrance. This makes the whole gameplay annoying

Great game. Constant crashes. Tried on three different phones - S8, S8+ and Note. Its a real shame; on the one hand, it's a modern take of an old classic, lovingly told, yet on the other it's a crash-ridden mess that genuinely ruins each journey down nostalgia lane. The other game in the series works perfectly, not a single crash. Feels rushed and in the parts that did work better (Trial of Champions for instance) padded out with additional introductions that add nothing to the story, quite the opposite. Sorry team but this is not fit for purpose.

Can't even play the game. It won't start again when you close the game after you first open it. Edit: Got it to work on a different device.
