Fun and odd but definitely fun. Pretty simple game just tossing lichtspears. Music is good but a bit repetitive. Enemies are varied but headshots take them all out quick. Cool graphics. Anytime I just want to relax and have a fun go of it I start this up.

Game starts off pretty solid, and the loop is pretty addictive. However, the game is extremely unforgiving and as you get further, the controls become too clunky to be as responsive as the game demands you to be. From accidentally triggering abilities when trying to quickly aim, to the delay of switching between 2+ extreme angles to hit the tons of enemies on the screen, the game just becomes too much and not in a fun way. Maybe it's better on console/PC, but mobile is a no-go.

Good game, until you reach "das sea serpent", where instead of fighting the boss you have to fight the awkward controls. I keep losing again and again because the aiming gets so awkward and unresponsive when you have to shoot different heights and directions. To be honest I am not sure how this could have passed playtesting, as it is extremely frustrating and doesn't feel like a fair loss.

The fun goes downhill as soon as you equip powerups as their activation gesture takes over the ability to throw the spear. It’s baffling. A core mechanic gets hijacked by optional abilities, making progression pure frustration. What could’ve been a great game gets ruined by its own upgrades. Docked 4 stars as this issue seems to be reported by many for years and there's still no action taken on this.
