Developer Description

Article reader is a place to read web your way + save articles to read offline.

Important:
If you noticed that the app stopped to save texts to PDF, it means that your device got update of Android System WebView (it is used by all the third party apps to render web content). Unfortunately the latest version of WebView contains bugs and hopefully will be fixed soon by its developer. For now you can roll back to older version of WebView by doing this: Launch Google Play on you device -> Search for "Android System WebViev" -> Click "Uninstall" button (it won't be uninstalled entirely, just rolls back to older version) -> Web to PDF will work correctly again :)

Great experience and you can freely read articles without ads or links or any notifications interrupting you. Some pages are incomplete and some just take too long to load. App needs automatic dark mode option. Give an option to completely turn off pictures in the article. Let the app fit perfectly to the screen instead moving sideways slightly. And most of all please update this app.

Hey the application is amazing but can the developers team please add backup settings. It would be a nightmare to loose all the URLs I have saved for further reading.

No updates since 2019, but I wish they'd let you export the articles themselves, not just the headlines. I use this app is to archive snapshots of articles offline. The articles don't always stay up or stay the same, so I'd be better off using Pocket if I was changing phones more frequently. Being able to import to a new phone or even just download zipped txts/PDFs would be awesome. Lastly, it's incompatible with archive.is, unfortunately (archive.is' fault).

PLEASE UPDATE -- I WOULD GLADLY BUY A PAID VERSION. This was 5 Stars, but last updated Apr 2019 -- no longer works on many sites. THANK FOR THE YEARS OF WONDERFUL USE THOUGH. _____________ I really love this app ... if a site constantly interrupts with subscription boxes, cookie permissions etc it hides them. fiAbsolute must now, since mobile site design is in the toilet ... It's all about aesthetics sadly. Designers couldn't care less about functionality and accessibility anymore.
