This app helps you build a deeper, more accurate command of advanced English vocabulary and retain it long-term.

At the core is an adaptive spaced repetition system. Review intervals automatically adjust to your real memory performance. If you recall a word after a longer delay than expected, the next interval increases. If you hesitate or answer incorrectly, the interval shortens without resetting your progress. This keeps your learning focused on the vocabulary that actually needs reinforcement.

Two learning modes support different ways of studying. Multiple Choice enables fast practice with immediate feedback and is ideal for building early recognition. Self-Assessment strengthens active recall: you look at a prompt, try to retrieve the meaning or the word yourself, then rate whether you knew it, almost knew it or did not know it. This approach is especially effective for long-term retention.

The content is organized into clear sets so you can study with purpose. Typical sets include refined adjectives, precise verbs, uncommon nouns, formal alternatives, and high-level vocabulary used in literature or academic writing. Each card contains the word, a clear definition in simple English, and optional example usage where helpful. You can freely enable or disable sets and adjust your selection at any time without losing progress.

Several question directions are available, such as Word → Meaning and Meaning → Word. This trains both recognition and active recall. You can switch directions whenever you want.

Tests provide a transparent overview of your current level. In a test, each item appears once. Depending on your result, you earn a silver or gold medal. Tests can be repeated as often as you like and make improvement easy to track.
