Seems to work as intended. I haven't noticed water coming out of my watch (Pixel Watch One) but the quality of the sound seems to be smoother when the watch is dry. Tragically, swimming still killed the battery life on my watch, but that could be a Pixel/google issue. I got around 36 hrs (even at a year old) before swimming with the watch, and I get around 6 now.
