"The Original Player Since 1995 Still at the Top." That's my headline review. And I can testify to all that having been a user and usually a subscriber to extra features and/or content since video began in the late 1990's. Attributes? Sophisticated. Easy to use. Focused on quality and usability to an extent most players never seek to attain. The parent, Real Networks, often moves forward and launches genuine market innovations too.

The app is well optimized and works effectively. However while Casting to Chromecast allow subtitles options to cast for better user experience.

Kind of disappointed with this. Thought it would be pretty much a mobile version of the Real Player (premium) installed on my laptop. The only files I have in the Real Player folder are videos I have downloaded from YouTube, most of which are converted into mp3s. All of my music and movies are in different locations on both my laptop and external hard drive and can't access them.

download functionality doesn't work on chrome for desktop not for devices. devices aren't showing up on desktop version. I've reregistered devices, reinstalled etcetera. now nothing is working. side note: the cloud lacks suitable space as a storage location for anything substantial. also if the download function fails it offers no remediation nor does it give you a reason why. you can resend the request through the app. it pretty much does this for all sites at this point.

Features on this app version are limited compared to the PC version. It does not download videos to mobile devices from YT URL links anymore. After over a year of user complaints, realplayer still has not fixed the issue and offers nothing but excuses.
