UPDATE 6/27/25: Great customer support too! Helped me import an RSS feed and the podcast works perfectly! This is a tremendous app! Google's decision to drop their podcast app left me in the lurch. Luckily I found Podcast Guru. I easily migrated my favorite podcasts. The intuitive controls made the process a breeze, and the interface works flawlessly. During the few times I had issues I was able to solve the problem thanks to great Help support. Can't say enough good things about Podcast Guru!

6/30/2025 Update: There comes a point in each podcast episode where it skips back and repeats itself like the deja vu cat glitch in The Matrix. So, lowering rating by 1 star. --- A straightforward podcast app. After Google Podcast died, I went through several apps that don't know when to stop with feature bloat that makes the core experience worse. This app is where I'm finally staying. I'm so happy this one is so easy to use.

Recent Jan 5 update causing issues with Android auto. Every time I plugin to my vehicle the app jumps to the next episode. Doesn't matter if the existing play is 1 second in or 3/4 of the way through. Good news is the current plays are not marked complete so I can go back but it's a hassle. This is my favorite podcast app after the demise of Google podcasts. Content discovery platform is great.

It does not interact well with Android Auto and keeps skipping ahead episodes when I get in the car. Also, I'm not sure it's keeping my whole to be listened to list or just the last few weeks. I run about a year or so behind so I'm not sure how that's going to work once my downloads are caught up from the Google transfer

great now randomly half my subscribe podcasts just disappeared. is still often has problems resuming after a podcast has been paused for a while. I reinstalled and it crashes often, doesn't want to resume from podcast view. I sense of failure in logic concerning volume boost. I often listen to a single podcast to which I will not be subscribing. Even with a newer, louder phone my aging ears and loud work environment in which I cannot use a speaker or earbuds requires everything to be boosted.
