French-LSQ (Sign Language of Quebec) Dictionary: 2000 words and phrases!
This application, designed to run on tablets and smartphones iOS and Android, is organized into two categories:
- In alphabetical order, from A to Z (contains more than 1900 words of vocabulary!)
- By themes (Alphabet, Numbers, Food, Colors, Trades, etc.), with the addition of a hundred phrases in LSQ!
It is also possible to search with a system of auto-completion (by typing the first letters, the list of words is displayed as and when).
For each word selected, a video showing an illustration, the sign in LSQ and the word written in French will be displayed on the screen.

This application is based on the "LSQ-French dictionary for the child and his family". This dictionary, in circulation since 2005, was produced by RESO, an association of parents of deaf children, in close collaboration with the Sourde community, mainly from the Outaouais region of Ontario and Quebec.

Je mets 3 ⭐ parce qu'il n'y a pas de mise à jour ni d'amélioration. L'ajout de mots essentiels aurait dû se faire depuis un bon moment.

L'interface est complètement brisée, ça mérite une mise à jour. Au moins le dictionnaire est accessible… quoi que les vidéos sont pas très éducatives, elles ne disent pas c'est à quoi qu'il faut prêter attention en faisant les signes.
