writing partly as warning. honestly annoying the amount of ads on this service, you can't even pay to remove them. you can opt out of certain ads but not all completely, this is probably due to the amount of government money in the sbs so that you can't avoid the ads the government pays for and creates. as an app it is very clunky, plenty of freezing and install issues. be aware you will probably see 4 sets of 30 sec blocks of ads in a 50min episode, if that's too much for you then be aware.

Absolutely useless! I recently installed a Telstra 'Fetch' unit. Whenever I watch a program from the SBS app it streams OK until the first of many advertisements start. Then, the screen freezes, showing the video from the program, and the audio from the ad only, plays. Sometimes, the screen freezes and no audio - wonderful! Sometimes, I can press 'pause' then play, then fast forward, then sometimes the video catches up on fast forward, but sometimes it doesn't. Sorry, I don't have the patience!
