SBS provides a variety of News from around the world. The views are quite balanced as well. Also, it provides a cultural panorama. It isn't just political and disaster.

Detailed unbiased international news is SBS strong point. Leaving the same stories on is just bloody annoying. If I wanted last week's news then I would buy the bloody news papers.

I still don't know what actually opens the story. Sine the latest release notifications come that take you to the header of a story. A picture, some big text and some smaller text. Despite using it many times I still don't know what actually opens the story, as tapping any of these things appear to do nothing until you scroll down. Nice idea but frustrating in practice.

news articles take 15 to 20 seconds to fully load. very slow.

Sub optimal after updating app. The issue i now have is that since the update, all my notifications on my phone now appear in Chinese script. I only read English. I have notified them with no response. I have a Samsung Note 10.
