Maintaining complete control over your kiln is crucial, however, what happens when you need to step away from it for a long period of time? Should something go wrong, precious time, energy, and resources are wasted. With the TAP Kiln Control Mobile App, you can continue to remotely monitor, update, and maintain control of your kiln as though you never left.

All that is required is a simple connection to the internet via a USB Wi-Fi Dongle and installation of TAP Kiln Control Mobile app on your mobile device. This will allow you to control and receive real-time data from your kiln no matter where you are.

Love the TAP controller. It makes running and, especially, creating firing schedules. Seeing the schedule as a table makes so much sense. The app is a great way to monitor the kiln and even make adjustments on the fly if needed. The only issue I've had with it is it doesn't always connect consistently. Their customer support is excellent. I had the software crash four days ago, got a response from them in 18 minutes. I sent them the board, they corrected the problem, and I'm back up today.

Will not accept the UID for my Kiln this is ridiculous I spent big money for this just to not have it work on my phone. The kiln has all the latest software and is brand new off the line. Ok update I contacted Tap and with in 2 hours we had a solution and a fix. Really impressed by their service. The app works on Android However It definitely needs more abilities like being able to cancel/abort a firing, I haven't played much with it yet But I will keep posting to this review as I play with it. Id give it 3.5 stars until the app get more ability .

Asking for my password every time really sucks! Why do I have to put up with the Ads?, I've already bought your product? Goofy and rude! Otherwise it is very handy to monitor my kiln from another room, way to hot near the kiln. Can't wait for the improved version. How about complete local control. A PC/Windows version would be great so I don't have to wake my phone all the time.

When purchasing the klin I was under the impression that the tap app would control the klin and you make a schedule. Nope. Wasted money on the bluetooth. You still have to stand in front of the klin

I'm not loving it yet. The help section says I can download my firing log but there is no way to do so. The log of each firing is so small on my phone's screen that it's useless. The diagnostic section just reads invalid date and no information is recorded pertaining to my usage. The app and the kiln are registering the correct date but not on the diagnostic page. According to what bugs they claimed they fixed, I'm not seeing it. I just got this kiln and controller and everything is up to date.
