SkillCat: HVAC School, EPA 608 users say on Google Play
It's a great and brisk type of app with concise knowledge that's specific for what you're learning and you can always go back too, along with the tests. It's great for getting into HVAC and much more blue collar occupations like electricians, construction, and much more. I highly recommend it. And it's very good on both mobile app and PC.
I love it sharpens my mind in safety and work readiness
I enjoy the app, but it's not well optimized at least for my phone. I'm on a Google pixel 10 Pro XL. The option buttons hide behind my notification bar and don't allow me to touch them. Whenever I'm in a test and I view the PT chart, I don't have any way to go back besides using the system navigation gesture and using that kicks me out of the test each time and closes the app. Please update.l
There's so many sections that have incorrect information or questions with wrong answers in the EPA 608 sections that you end up having to find the correct information outside of the app. I could see this being acceptable if it was free, but it's a paid subscription service. Navigation also sucks within the sections as there's no TOC or index to use in the lessons to quickly jump to specific topics, and no way to mark things of interest to have for later either.
The quizzes for HVAC frequently claim an given answer is incorrect when it is actually the right answer. I wanted the app to help me level up not make me dumber.
