“This prep is worth every penny! Taking a ten question quiz every day, and then going in to review the ones I missed, was very helpful. It helped me pass the NCE on my first try.” -Chicasueca79

Recently used this while prepping for the NCE and can vouch that this app was an extremely useful supplement to my test prep, well worth the subscription. Aside from the rare error in grammar, all the questions were well-written and typically provide a detailed answer as to why a given option is correct, which was helpful for review. The mock tests were great for reducing test anxiety as well.
I have been using this app for 13 days to help me study for the LCSW exam. So far I have found it useful, but I have noticed some issues others have mentioned such as odd grammar on occasion. Another issue I recently noticed is that my stats vs. community stats are showing up differently on the mobile app and web browser (when I study from my laptop). I realize this is more of a minor issue, but it is bothersome and brings the integrity into question a bit for me.
Using it to study for the NCE. Disappointed that there were no questions on Research, Evaluation and Statistics. Other areas seem ok. Though I would have preferred a program that matches more closely with the NCE categories. Easy to use. Assessment section seemed weaker than some of the other prep material I have used (prefer Rosenthal's material over pocket prep). ** In response to the link they left. Table 3 says Research and Evaluation will be on the exam. This is an oversight by Pocket Prep.
Seems to not be an accurate reflection of exam prep. I am doing well on the daily questions and short exams. The mock exams were low. Retested for the 9x in 22 years...failed again but the pocket prep is easily accessible and user friendly.
Many questions are confusing, lacking enough context, too many correct answers, etc. I have been using this app for about 2 months. My scores consistently get lower as my outside knowledge and studying increases. I at first thought that I read too much into the questions. I conclude that whoever or whatever is creating the questions is missing the mark and creating poor questions. After going through actual AMFTRB practice exams, I don't think the question format is similar enough to be helpful
