Card Thief, the official follow up to Tinytouchtales excellent dungeon crawler Card Crawl, attempts to condense the classic stealth genre into a solitaire style card game. The game offers an accessible core gameplay with a deep layer of tactical planning and various risk reward mechanics on top. In 4 different heists you can test your skills against various enemy and trap types. By successfully completing heists you can unlock and upgrade 12 equipment cards each with a unique ability to improve your highscores.

This game is incredibly fun, I went into it with high hopes and it exceeded my expectations. You can easily grasp the rules of the game and its hard enough where it doesn't get boring and keeps a good challenge but not too hard where every step is confusing. Only critique I have is possibly having a warning before playing a game saying you don't have any more space for chests however its a minor thing that can easily be fixed. Great job devs!
update- PLEASE add a "open all" button for chests! Playing daily, it becomes annoying opening them all the time. Been playing for many years (10++). I would like to see separate leaderboards for the daily puzzles, one for chest and one for coins. It's disheartening to get a high chest number only to be way down on the leaderboard under people with #1 chests but more coins. They should be weighted in a different way. Also, the chest number should count for more than just that number of coins.
Nice concept, but not much game value. Feels very repetitive and forces you to grind for ability unlocks. Ability unlocks and upgrades feels like a chore. Nothing motivated me to reach for high scores. When I found nothing really new at the last castle, I just dropped the game and kind of regretted my time spent. But still very atmospheric for a card game. It's just that I never reach for higher scores just because. I need the game to reward me for it.
The game on its own isn't bad but the "offline" tag is misleading because at some point you cannot progress anymore without being forced to watch an ad when opening a chest.
arbitrary rule of a path needing to be at least 2 long to confirm a path is ridiculous even if the end of the level is only 1 away. immediately uninstalled stupid game mechanic. I was very impressed by the artwork which made uninstalling this game even more sad as almost no other mobile game compares in my opinion.
