About this app

Braveland Pirate is a paid strategy game that concludes the Braveland trilogy, offering an exciting experience for fans of the series and newcomers alike. This app solves the problem of monotony in mobile gaming by providing a engaging storyline and turn-based strategy gameplay. It benefits gamers who enjoy old-school strategy games and are looking for a challenging experience without in-app purchases or ads. Compared to alternatives in the Game Strategy category, Braveland Pirate stands out with its paid model, which ensures a distraction-free experience, but may fall short in terms of accessibility due to its upfront cost.

Pros

  • Braveland Pirate has a good user rating of 3.7/5, indicating a generally positive reception from players, which is a testament to its engaging gameplay and faithfulness to the strategy genre.
  • The app's paid model and lack of in-app purchases or ads ensure a distraction-free experience, allowing players to focus on the game without interruptions or pressure to spend more money.
  • With no permissions required, Braveland Pirate is a secure choice for players concerned about data privacy and security, as it does not collect any sensitive information.
  • The game's offline capability makes it accessible for play in any situation, without the need for a constant internet connection, which is a significant advantage for commuters or travelers.
  • The developer, Tortuga Team, has a reputation for creating engaging and challenging games, which is reflected in the quality and depth of Braveland Pirate's gameplay.

Cons

  • The upfront cost of $5.49 may be a barrier for some players, especially those who prefer to try games before committing to a purchase or are accustomed to free-to-play models.
  • Although the game has a good rating, some users may find the gameplay mechanics or difficulty level not to their liking, which could lead to disappointment or frustration.
  • The lack of updates or new content may lead to player fatigue over time, as the game's replay value depends on its core mechanics and storyline.
  • Players expecting a multiplayer component or more dynamic gameplay may find Braveland Pirate's single-player, turn-based strategy too static or unengaging.

Best for: The ideal user for Braveland Pirate is a strategy game enthusiast, likely between the ages of 18 and 45, who values challenging gameplay, engaging storylines, and is willing to pay for a high-quality, ad-free experience without in-app purchases, and has a medium to high level of technical skill to navigate the game's mechanics and settings.

Great short game. Variety of enemies with an unique enemy every fight. Has dialague before every fight and an ok story. Has about a day or two worth of gameplay.

Looks good and fun. One complaint, tho... You have Google play integration but no cloud save, how'd that happen?

Was enjoying it until it deleted my saves. It's not strategically deep enough to bother replaying the several hours I put into it. Edit: I contact the developer but they cannot restore the save games. Appreciate the contact and will get Space Land when available on Android... Although I'm still not going back to finish Pirate

I like the base game an I have played the predecessors. This part punishes the player if he does not take the right turn. You miss a mission or a treasure has been taken, because you decided to restock your troops instead of going straight to the treasure. This sucks because the can not know what path to take in advance.
