Heroes of Steel is a turn-based tactics RPG in which you build a party of four characters and combine their unique talents, curses, buffs and abilities to make a winning team strategy. Face challenging monsters, terrifying bosses, and constantly changing terrain in the hostile Underdeep. Gain over 60 levels and transform your characters into legendary heroes, choosing from hundreds of Talents and thousands of combinations of equipment.

It is the dawn of the Seventy First Year after the world has fallen. Four of the Thirteen Gods rose up against their creator, the All-Father, and destroyed him in a cataclysmic event. In the final days before all was lost, under the guidance of an ancient order of druids, the survivors retreated to a mysterious underground labyrinth; the Underdeep. Now, in the Underdeep, the last remnants of humanity are scratching out a living and trying to rebuild a society, but are quickly discovering that evil has followed them beneath the surface.

Savor complete control over character customization, deciding how to increase your attributes, skills, and powerful talents. Equip each of your characters with a variety of weapons, armor, and up to three mundane or magical accessories. As your party explores the dungeons, cities and crypts of the world, you will decide the overall strategy and approach your team takes.

* IAPs Explained
All IAPs are permanent additions. Purchasing a Character ($1.99) allows you to add the character to any new group. Purchasing a story Episode ($1) allows any group to play through the Episode. There are no consumable or repeat IAPs in this game.

* Permissions Explained
* android.permission.INTERNET is used to send crash reports online to the Trese Brothers allowing us to fix any crash. Crash reports are very small and are sent automatically.

* android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE will enable FUTURE feature to import / export saved games for sharing.

Grey Wind

An engaging experience! Heroes of Steel is a turn-based RPG that sees you controlling a group of four heroes in an underground, post-apocalyptic civilisation. Combat and character customization are surprisingly in-depth, with many types of equipment, skills and builds. The story and setting are also quite unique. Devs are great, and put out lots of updates! However, the dungeon crawling drags on a bit, and this game takes ages to play. Though that might be a plus if you like lots of content!

Pacing is very slow and linear. Good story, for several dollars there is a lot of gameplay, but it also feels too long where it feels like a drag to finish. I often find my mages and archer to run out of mana super quickly even with 10%+ SP drain. One thing that should be fixed though is SP drain and aoe attacks. It only recovers on the target you targetted, and not everyone else. I'm halfway into the game, my mage has 400 mana, cleric 600, and takes a lot of resources to recover without rest.

Well... Good game, but becomes repeatative kinda fast. Tactical combat is flat, but the hero's skill development is nice. Unfortunately, i got stock in an infinite turn-based combat mode when the game detected unseen enemies. Tried to find them for a few hours and gave up since moving a party of 4 in turn based mode is not my idea of fun.

I love the developer's other games, but this one seems to be the worst one for combat. You will always miss significantly more often than your opponents, and after the first boss, they start to deal way more damage than you can deal, as well. The curve is drastic and makes it not enjoyable to play when you constantly struggle in every single fight. No respawning enemies or ways to farm exp/gold (understandable) but the difficulty curve needs some way to mitigate it.

Feels like a p2w game where the enemy gets harder way too fast. It likely is not coincidence that you can spend another $8 in the game to buy 4 other characters. Also, its an extra $1 to repec your characters. My main problem with this game is that all 4 of your characters have to use mana. The regular attacks miss and deal little damage. So after every single battle you have to run back to a rest area. It gets insanely worse in episode 2. The amount of times you die in this game is crazy.
