Gives you all the options to change preset tone and guitar effects based on popular songs so you can create your own unique sound. I can not think of running my VT40x without it. You must make sure you have the correct USB cable as standard adapters don't work. Make sure it is USB B type data cable. I love the app greatly recommend it.

IMPORTANT: Be sure the USB-to-MiniUSB cable you're using is OTG (On The Go) capable to allow for two-way control and communication. Many cables are designed only for charging or one-way control, and will not work with your amp. Get the right cable and it should work correctly. That said, the graphics resolution is functional, but looks fuzzy in today's 1080p world. However, the app is not for gazing at; it's a tool for editing the sound of a very nice amp. (VT40X in my case.)

Would be nice to hear from VOX again. The app needs serious updates and definitely more support from the brand. I find really frustrating have to use my laptop every time I want to use some of the presents I have on .vtxprog format because there is no way to trace correctly the root through the android app. A simple file explorer would do. The app is not fluent at all, the efforts to make it look cool with all this wood effects made it just not nice, and the resolution of texts is not correct. Seems like somebody did a quick conversion to android from pc/mac and didn't pay attention to the usability of the app. I use a VT40X. Is not a gig amp, is something that the most of us use at home, and change between different modes with a well brewed app would be much easier than have to use a laptop and a mouse. I was expecting more attention from VOX, even on cheap modeling amplifiers... That's a shame.

Although it's not a horrible app by any means.... it NEEDS TO BE UPDATED..... SEVERELY. There are MUCH better apps with all sorts of effects pedals and amp models in them.. only problem is they don't work on my Vox Adio Air GT without me getting a while new set up just to use them... there just aren't NEARLY as many effects on this app as there are others. The last time you guys updated this sad app was October 2019???? C'mon you guys..... we're dying in quarantine over here trying to kill time

Needs serious quality updates...... would hv been great if it had a 7 BAND or 10 BAND EQUALISER.... octave pedal etc.... It would be great if u guys added some pedals that can be purchased..... also access to costum the path chain..... FROM CONSUMER P.O.V THE TONE ROOM PROGRESS IS MINIMAL
