"KORG Kaossilator for Android" is a synthesizer app that lets anyone enjoy full-fledged instrumental performance simply by freely moving their finger across the touch panel. From electronic sounds to acoustic instruments and drums, you can play a wide range of sounds with a single finger. Also provided is a sequencer that's indispensable for creating songs, so you can create tracks by recording and layering your performances. This easy yet full-fledged instrumental experience is now available on your Android smartphone.

- Perform using touch gestures: Kaossilator uses the unique X-Y interface. Create melodies and phrases simply by stroking, tapping, or rubbing the touch screen with your finger.
- 150 diverse sounds covering many music styles: Use the 150 built-in sounds to perform and produce a broad range of dance music styles including EDM, hip-hop, house, techno, dubstep, nu-disco, and electro.
- Scale/Key feature eliminates any wrong notes: The Scale setting ensures that the notes of your performance will stay in the key you’ve specified. Choose from 35 different scales including chromatic, major, minor, and even blues scales.
- Loop sequencer for easy track-making and live performance: The built-in loop sequencer lets you layer up to five musical parts. By recording sounds such as synth, bass, chords, sound effects, and drums into each part, you can quickly complete original loop tracks that are distinctively your own.

Very good app version of the kaossilator phrase syntheziser. Intuitive and easy to use, good and useful sound library with possibility to import sounds/loops. Great sound, more than just an app to play around with, it's really an instrument. Only the drum options could be a bit better. With a TR-rec style sequencer it would be perfect.

I love this app, but it is in dire need of updates, feels pretty abandoned. Bluetooth needs to be faster, due to a strong delay in touch/sound time. The ability to import new samples would be amazing. (Add more soundpacks please!) It would be awesome if you could add an optional grid so that notes are mapped out in the spaces between the lines. This would help the drum pads as well. A layer for fx modulation is needed so that more presets can focus on vibrato. Hope to see more apps from Korg! 😉

The biggest remaining issue with this app is the lack of an option to display note grids. By using a screen overlay app I was able to overlay my own note grids--to near pixel accuracy. Unfortunately, this overlay app isn't available for my new phone. If I could "fix" this issue years ago, why can't the Korg developers?

It was good while it lasted, but KORG broke the entire app: my loops are missing, most do not open anymore, the app deletes all melody when renaming a loop set,... Lost a lot of time working on projects because now they are all gone. What a horrible app. Massively over-priced for this kind of amateurism. Seriously, do not install it, because it will waste your time and your money.
