Sun Alarm lets you define alarms for these sun related events:

- Sunrise
- Sunset
- Noon
- Astronomical twilight
- Nautical twilight
- Civic twilight
- Golden hour
- Blue hour

The alarm time is either the time of the event or a time period before or after the event.

Wroger Wroger

This is a really good app and I appreciate your efforts. This app only installs / updated on the SM-A01G Core (dead slow and can't run most apps 4 emergency use only), it won't run SM-J250G (spare) or the SM-J260F (main). Can you set it up to run it on everything again. I am prepared to pay for it. It's a GOOD app, that I have had many years of good use from.

I just realized why I had not heard my alarm in the mornings lately. Apparently, instead of notifications, this app uses media volume (my media volume is turned off usually because of ads when I play games.) I am so thrilled to find this. I can wake up with the actual sunrise, not a light wanting to be a sunrise. I have been wanting to reset my body's clock to match the solar cycle for quite a while now. Limited alarms free, as many as you want for a reasonable rate. Thank you.

Could really do with the ability to allow for constant location update. The alerts also seem to come in at random times whilst in Thailand, despite often repositioning my location manually. Not very reliable out there.

Made for a MUCH older version of Android. No actual code change for years and years. No idea what device the dev is developing on, but it isn't standard Android, so weird bugs. For several years alarms are starting at full volume regardless of setting "gradually increasing". Additionally, full screen notifications to dismiss also triggers keyguard requiring unlocking the phone to dismiss alarm. Also, the snooze feature does not function as the alarm tone never rings when the alarm fires again.

A Google user

Just did a fresh install on a new handset running Android 14 and the app doesn't work at all. The initial prompts granting permissions work, then it just tells me it doesn't know my location. Hamburger menu doesn't respond. Add alarm menu doesn't respond. "No location" notice doesn't reapond. Nothing responds. After about 10 seconds the app closes. I use this app every day (on my old, now broken handset) and I have paid for it, so this isn't great.
