From the blue sweep second hand to the richly textured backgrounds in shades from black to red, this is an artistic creation in 1.3 inches. A nice touch is the ability to change the color of the date and a thin inset of both watch hands in colors that complement the backgrounds. I find the new layout of the complications easy to read even without my reading glasses. All the elements are nicely balanced from the top BPM to the 24 hour digital clock at the bottom - in a nice futuristic style font. This is my favorite layout of the active face of any AE watch face.
