UPDATE: I was very pleased with the developers response! ====== I have used this app for years with no issue. Today an ad started running with sound & I could not stop it. I shut the app down, the ad comtinued to run. I muted my phone & cleared my device's memory. When I turned the sound back up it was still running this ad even after closing the app & clearing memory! I had to turn my phone off & reboot it to stop the ad!! I will NOT be using this app, or its sister app Weather Kitty anymore!

This is my second review.. downgraded to two stars. The adds have gotten so bad that it makes the screen jump back and forth so often that it makes it difficult to read a lot....2025 ads are even worse. I wonder if there's a grumpy dog app?

I have been using this app for many years now. The weather is the most accurate out of all weather apps I have tried. I use the free version. However with the latest update the app has ruined the experience. Every time I open the app an ad with sound plays immediately. What if I open it during a meeting or something. Today it played an ad with piercing beeps.Horrible. I'm fine with an ad appearing as soon as I open but it should be muted. Other apps with ads are able to achieve this.
