As long as you turn off all notifications, it's a terrific app. I've been kind of a weather geek for years - this has the best futurecast radar animation that I've ever seen. Pay a few bucks for RainAlarm, that will give you the notifications you want. If you allow WSFB to notify you, it will loudly announce that "a new station alert has arrived" way too often. I thought I had malware in my system, and it woke me up a few times before I figured it out. Overall though, it's great.
Overall this is my go-to app when it comes to the local weather. However, the daily / hourly weather is always different than the actual forecast given by the meteorologist.
what's a dang killometer??? on the earth quakes anyway?????
Holy ads everywhere
I appreciate the audible breaking weather notices when there is dangerous storms around. But I don't appreciate frequent audible warnings when the weather is good and normal. Hyping weather on TV is bad enough, but on my phone crosses the line.
