Developer Description

Live radio from WDR 5 and on-demand audios to listen and remember at any time.

The WDR 5 app offers the radio live stream from WDR 5 with additional information about the show. You can also jump back up to two hours in the stream. We also offer all on-demand audio from the radio program to listen to, save and share.

In the "Start" area you will find current listening recommendations from the editorial team on various topics, as well as the most listened to audios from WDR 5. There are also all podcasts/shows from A to Z and links to the playlist and the service pages for recipes, book tips and presenter information.

Are you particularly interested in certain topics or programs? Just search and find! You can create your personal collection of saved audios and also subscribe to favorite shows.

Under “Program” you will find all broadcast times and additional information about the programs. You can also specifically call up individual days.

You can use “Contact” to write to the WDR 5 team directly or send us a voice message.

The app and its content are free for you. Given the data volume, we recommend accessing audio from the WLAN or via a mobile data flat rate. You can also reduce the stream quality in the settings.

The app uses the following permissions on your device:
Storage - For storing content (including audios available offline).
Telephone - You can call us directly via “Contact”.

Ich habe folgende Kritikpunkte: 1. Sendungen sind nur unterhalb von 'Mein WDR5' zu finden. Das finde ich nicht intuitiv. 2. Eine Suchfunktion fehlt. 3. Es gibt keine Downloadfunktion! Das wichtigste fehlt also.
