Control your Miele Scout - even on the go
The Status Screen gives you all key information at a glance, e.g. which mode the Scout is currently in and when it will begin the next cleaning session. With just two clicks you can select a cleaning mode and start the robot vacuum cleaner straight away.
The timer function can be used to program the start time for cleaning. Up to 7 individual timers can be set, allowing cleaning to start at different times on weekdays than at weekends.
Furthermore the Scout navigates systematically through the rooms and generates a map of the area being cleaned. This enables you to track where the Scout is at any given time and find out which areas have already been cleaned.
With the Home Vision HD function*, you can check that everything is in order at home at any time while you are on the go. Using the front cameras, you can also monitor the activities of the robot vacuum cleaner in real time. The camera image is sent via live tracking to your mobile device securely and in encrypted form.

The pre-requisite for the use of this app is a Miele Scout robot vacuum cleaner.

Had to re-install the app is working again.

Maps don't load. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. All S/W up to date. Reloaded rebooted - no luck. Still works on Apple iPhone 12. App reports "robot vacuum cleaner not reporting correctly, please check the robot vacuum cleaner". Update: Dec 29 2021 Maps now load properly after the update. Thanks.

This required a decent amount of effort to finally get installed. I'm not sure what got it to work, but power cycling the vacuum, factory reset, removing the Scout RXWiFi profile, reinstalling the app, shouting at the ceiling, were all required. The app itself isn't terrible. I have yet to work with it much. - No Google Home integration (-1 star at least). - Ein bisschen besser.

Considering the price point of this vacuum cleaner and the Mielle brand, this app is an utter disappointment. It seems that some of the issues noted in previous reviews have been addressed, but the experience is still rather poor overall. The map functionality is particularly lacking, and virtually not fit for purpose. For example, I saved the map for my hallway and then went into edit mode and the map just vanished. I also have some gripes with the machine itself so not a happy customer.

RX3 user. This app is utterly useless, the app cannot stay connected to the device, either on the same wifi or using the cloud account. It is totally unbelievable that a corporation such as Miele cannot write a decent app or fix the hardware issues. I work in software, this stuff should be easy. Customer support shall feel my wrath. It's 5 months since this app was last updated, it's shocking that they've fixed nothing. Your words not mine "We are constantly striving to become “immer besser”.
